Here are a few of the stories that emerged from the TCA Press Tour and caught our eye:
ABC Family has to air the 700 Club, but doesn’t necessarily want to. [THR]
FX didn’t pick up the pilot Powers, which was shot in Chicago last year, but is considering doing extensive re-shoots and giving it another try. [SplashPage]
The 24 movie could start filming this spring and a Party Down movie is definitely happening. [MovieHole]
Ed Westwick talked about his feelings for Leighton Meester after the Bad Ass Boys of The CW Panel. [E!]

There’s still no air date for ABC Family’s filmed-in-Pittsburgh cable movie musical Elixir. [Post Gazette]
Judd Apatow, who is producing the new HBO series Girls, said he was “wounded” by his past television experiences. [THR]
Though Nicole Kidman plays writer Martha Gellhorn in a new HBO movie, she wouldn’t someone playing her in a movie about her own life. [AccessHollywood]

ABC announced Grey’s Anatomy will continue, even if stars Ellen Pompeo, Patrick Dempsey and Sandra Oh (whose contracts expire after this season) leave the series. [TV Guide]

Fox is also planning a Saturday late-night animated comedy block to compete with SNL. [The Wrap]
