Though Thor 2 doesn’t have a script yet, it does have a November 15, 2013 release date and apparently a (somewhat vague) start date.
In a recent webchat with Empire and their readers, Tom Hiddleston revealed some surprising details about the movie, including a possible move to London.
All I know about Thor 2 is that we’re supposed to film it in London in the summer and that it is being directed by Alan Taylor.
The first film, which was directed by Kenneth Branagh, was shot at Raleigh Manhattan Beach Studios in California and on location in New Mexico which is why this news is a bit surprising. We assumed Thor 2 would return to the Manhattan Beach Studios and with no script details it’s hard to determine why they made the change, aside from the obvious- it’s probably cheaper.
Guess we’ll all just have to stay tuned for more Thor 2 details.
