In addition to the Dick Wolf pilot expected to shoot in Chicago next month, a medical drama for Fox will also be filmed in the Windy City this spring.
The pilot, which will be directed by Michael Dinner, will focus on a female doctor working for the mob in Chicago. Sony Pictures TV is producing for the Fox Network.
The pilot will headquarter at Chicago Studio City.
Though Fox chose to shoot their Chicago-based pilot in Chicago, ABC did not.
The Alphabet Network’s pilot Zero Hour, “about a magazine editor who finds himself in what could be the biggest conspiracy of all time”, takes place in France and Germany in 1938 and in present day Chicago but is being shot in Montreal in March.
The two week production will take place at Montreal’s famous Mel’s Studios.
