Don’t miss ‘Spider-Man Week in NYC’ June 25 – July 1

To celebrate the release of The Amazing Spider-Man on July 3, Columbia Pictures has partnered with several New York City institutions for Spider-Man Week – seven days of special Spidey-themed events in all five boroughs!

On Monday, join the cast of The Amazing Spider-Man from 7:00 AM – 9:0 AM at the Today Show Plaza to kick off Spider-Man Week in NYC.

The Empire State Building will be lit up red and blue at dusk on Monday.

Rhys Ifans will sign autographs at Forbidden Planet, 840 Broadway on Monday at 8:00 PM.

Spider-Man will deliver the first spider to The American Museum of Natural History’s newest exhibit “SPIDERS ALIVE!” in Wednesday, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

On Saturday, Sony Wonder Technology Lab, 56th Street and Madison Avenue, will offer fans the chance to learn the basic techniques behind stop motion animation and create their own unique Spider-Man animated short to take home from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. It costs $5 per participant.

And, all week Yankee Stadium is celebrating Spider-Man with The Amazing Spider-Man prizes!
