Woody Allen filming his next movie in Marin County, California on August 6th

A few months ago it was announced that Woody Allen would shoot his next movie in the San Francisco area (his first movie filmed in the U.S. in a few years) and now we know more about exactly when and where lensing will take place.

The untitled movie, starring Alec Baldwin, Cate Blanchett, Bobby Cannavale, Louis C.K., Andrew Dice Clay, Michael Emerson, Sally Hawkins and Peter Sarsgaard, will also spend a few weeks filming in New York City.

A recent casting call for the movie reveals they will be filming in Marin County, California on August 6, 2012.

UPDATE:

Unfortunately, I have been asked to take the full casting call down (though it can be found at sfcasting.com for those who subscribe). But, I can confirm the casting call is for a daytime party scene (upscale, conservative) taking place in Marin County on Monday, August 6.

If you spot the new Untitled Woody Allen Movie filming in the San Francisco or New York area or have any scoop about the movie, let us know at olv@onlocationvacations.com!

  1. ^^ Sausalito? Why? You don’t know that. Frankly, Sausalito has too many tourists. If it’s an upscale daytime party scene, Mill Valley makes more sense.

  2. I’m starstruck after seeing Cate Blanchett last week in the front passenger seat of a van, (in the South Van Ness/Mission area, 5 feet away from a corner I was standing on. I waved and she smiled and waved back. She’s even more lovely in person!
