‘The Campaign’ Whistle-Stop Tour continues Monday in Boston and Toronto

Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis hit the campaign trail last week making stops at The Grove in Los Angeles, where they joked with fans, a Naval Base in Fort Worth, where they joined soldiers in a tug-of-war, Chicago, where the pair threw out dueling pitches at a Cubs/Marlins Game, Seattle’s Pike Place Market where they served coffee, and Kiener Plaza, St. Louis, where they met with fan.

The comedy duo’s whistle-stop tour wasn’t in support of a presidential candidate, but in support of their new film, The Campaign.

The 11-city tour will wrap up next week with stops in Boston and Toronto, where Will and Zack will visit Canada’s beloved Hockey Hall of Fame, on Monday, July 30 and on Tuesday, July 31 they will attempt to recreate the signing of the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia before posing for photos at the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C.

In The Campaign, Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis star as rival North Carolina congressional candidates out to bury each other with mud-slinging, back-stabbing, and home-wrecking.  The comedy also stars Jason Sudeikis, Dylan McDermott,  Katherine LaNasa, John Lithgow, Dan Aykroyd and Brian Cox.

The Campaign opens in theaters nationwide on Friday, August 10.
