Where do you think ‘Divergent’ will film in Chicago?

As we’ve mentioned, the highly anticipated film Divergent, based on Veronica Roth’s young adult novel about a teenage girl named Tris (Shailene Woodley) who lives in a dystopian Chicago, will begin a 60-day shoot in Chicago this spring, and already there is speculation about which of the city’s landmarks they’ll choose as their background.

The Chicago Tribune has compiled a list of notable Chicago sights mentioned in the book that could become filming locations in the movie.

Check out the list below and let us know which you think they will choose for the film!

Willis Tower (the meeting point for all five  factions)

Millennium Park (readers are told the spot “used to be a park”)

John Hancock Center (an abandoned building Tris ziplines from)

Navy Pier’s Ferris Wheel (Tris climbs this playing capture the flag)

Michigan Avenue (busy south of the bridge but “bare” north of it in the book)
