This weekend NBC’s highly anticipated Hatfields & McCoys pilot begins filming in Boston with Sophia Bush, Rebecca De Mornay, and Virginia Masden.
Though the show is being filmed in Boston it is set in present-day Pittsburgh, with the blue-collar McCoys going to war with the wealthy Hatfields after a shocking death reignites their feud. The shows comes on the heels of last year’s ratings-winning miniseries, Hatfields & McCoys, starring Kevin Costner.
According to @BostonTweet the pilot will start filming in Boston on Sunday, Mar. 17 on Harrison Ave. They will continue filming on Monday on Waltham St and at Cinquecento on Tuesday.
UPDATE: Also filming on Washington St on Monday.
Local extras casting is being handled by Boston Casting.
