According to a recent crew call, The Million Dollar Arm, starring Jon Hamm, will soon begin filming in Atlanta, GA.
The movie is tentatively set to begin filming in Atlanta on May 6, with additional filming taking place in India and Los Angeles, CA.
The film is based on the true story of J.B. Bernstein, an American sports agent who discovered pro pitchers Rinku Singh and Dinesh Patel, through a reality TV series, The Million Dollar Arm, he staged in India.

Ran into a police roadblock at 3am Saturday morning (4/6) on Park Central Blvd between Snapfinger Woods Dr and Covington Hwy. Was told it was a movie filming but not the title…sorry.

They’ve closed down the Gwinnett Braves Stadium (Coolray Field) and there are trailers and tents set up in the parking lot today. I was told they were filming a movie but I didn’t get a title. I wonder if they’re filming this movie here.
