A busy summer of filming begins for Vancouver with a number of movies, television shows, and other projects setting up throughout the Metro area.
Tim Burton’s next film Big Eyes has already begun production with stars Amy Adams (Man Of Steel), Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained), Krysten Ritter, and Terrence Stamp in town. The plot revolves around the painter Margarent Keane, her success in the ’50s, and how her husband took credit for her work. Filming is scheduled to shoot locally until August 23.
According to recent filming permits, Big Eyes will be filming at The Penthouse Nightclub in Vancouver on July 15 through 19.
Other movies filming in Vancouver are the Untitled Eadweard Muybridge Project, If I Had Wings, Patterson’s Wager, and The Visitors.
Television shows are also beginning production, and a few big ones are starting this week! Supernatural starts on July 11, followed by Once Upon A Time on the 12th.
Also, keep a look out for new parents Channing Tatum, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, and their child Evelyn when they arrive for Jenna’s TV show The Witches of East End which begins production on July 16.
