It has been 20 years since The Shawshank Redemption was filmed in Ohio locations including Mansfield, Ashland, and Upper Sandusky and they are taking advantage of the occasion.
Taking place between August 30th to September 1st, these cities are honoring the movie by putting on special events including tours of filming locations, a special screening of the film, and also hosting appearances by actors from the film.
