Extra, hosted by Maria Menounos and Mario Lopez, has move from its longtime location at The Grove to Universal Studios Hollywood for its 20th TV season.
The show will tape segments from various parts of the theme park and from the CityWalk entertainment complex weekdays from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
“It’s a place people go to be a part of the Hollywood experience and that’s what we do on ‘Extra,’ we give our audience a chance to mingle with celebrities and be part of a daily event,” said “Extra” senior executive producer Lisa Gregorisch-Dempsey of Universal Studios Hollywood in a statement.
Most of the celebrity interviews are being conducted in front of the iconic Universal Studios Hollywood Globe Fountain which can be accessed/seen via CityWalk. Tickets are not required for Universal CityWalk, though they are required to enter Universal Studios Hollywood theme park.
