After several delays and a major casting change the drama Southpaw, from Sons of Anarchy scribe Kurt Sutter, is finally going into production this summer.
Jake Gyllenhaal has signed on to star as a welterweight champion who rises in his profession while his personal life falls apart.
Southpaw, which will also star Rachel McAdams, Lupita Nyong’o and Forest Whitaker, will be partially shot in Indiana, PA this summer and they are looking for extras.
A casting call will be held for men and women 18 years old and older from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 24 at the Indiana Mall.
Filming is slated to begin filming in Indiana before moving into Pittsburgh, PA in late July or August.
Extras will portray boxing spectators and may work multiple days.
