Two of this summer’s biggest films are premiering on May 28, one in Los Angeles, the other in New York City.
The premiere of Maleficent will be held at the El Capitan Theatre, 6838 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood in the evening.
Maleficent stars Angelina Jolie as the famous Walt Disney character. Until now, the character was best known for cursing the infant Princes Aurora in the 1959 classic Sleeping Beauty.
On the east coast, Tom Cruise will be premiering Edge of Tomorrow, along with co-star Emily Blunt.
The movie follows Major William Cage (Cruise) and Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski (Blunt), as they are thrown into a time loop and have to live out the same fights and death over and over until they are skilled enough to beat their alien enemies.
The Edge of Tomorrow premiere will be held at AMC Loews Lincoln Square in New York City.
