The viral marketing campaign is for the new movie The Signal, starring Laurence Fishburne, Brenton Thwaites, Sarah Clarke, Olivia Cooke, and Beau Knapp.
The film, which opens on June 13, follows three college kids on a cross country road trip when they discover the tracking of a computer genius who has already hacked into MIT. The students find themselves in an isolated area when everything goes dark. As one of them regains consciousness, he finds himself in a waking nightmare.
The Signal was filmed in New Mexico last spring.
