Yesterday, stars Natalie Dormer (Cressida), Mahershala Ali (Boggs), Evan Ross (Messalla), Elden Henson (Pollux), and Wes Chatham (Castor) took part in the premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 teaser trailer on the Galaxy Tab S at The Capitol Gallery in the Samsung Galaxy Experience at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego.
The San Diego Comic-Con trailer premiere also featured a welcome from holographic versions of the movie’s characters as well as all-white refreshments to match the all-white room where fans were given a chance to have a peek at the 2-minute trailer.
As the trailer opens, the late Phillip Seymour Hoffman and a gray-haired Julianne Moore are seen discussing Katniss Everdeen’s role while Donald Sutherland as President Snow is declaring the Mockingjay symbol illegal.
Next, Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss enters the underground bunker where she agrees to take on the cause of the Panem refugees. This sets the stage for the next chapter in The Hunger Games saga.
The trailer will be released next week but, in the meantime, fans can see it on Samsung devices at Best Buy stores around the country.
