Tonight, Jason Reitman will continue his Live Read series with The Empire Strikes Back.
Even better than the subject matter is the epic cast Reitman has put together to read the movie’s original script. Aaron Paul will play Luke Skywalker in the one-night-only event, while J.K. Simmons takes on the part of Darth Vader. Stephen Merchant has also joined the cast as C-3PO, Dennis Haysbert will read the part of Lando Calrissian, and Kevin Pollak is set play Yoda.
The Live Read of The Empire Strikes Back will take place tonight at the Theatre at Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
