The latest Rocky movie, Creed, begins filming in less than a week and they are still looking for extras.
The new movie, which will be filmed in Philadelphia, will focus on the grandson of Apollo Creed – Carl Weathers’ character in the first 4 Rocky movies – played by Michael B. Jordan. Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) will make an appearance in the movie as his mentor and trainer.
Heery Casting Casting has posted a few new casting calls on their Facebook page looking for ring girls and a young boy to play a boxer, among other roles for the movie. Check out the details below:
Heery Casting is looking for EXPERIENCED Ring Girls for featured extra roles in “Creed”. SAG-AFTRA or union waiver possible. All ethnicities. MUST BE LOCAL TO PHILADELPHIA AREA. Please submit phone number and a full body shot in either a bathing suit or a photo from your most recent gig as a ring girl. Email to: creedcasting@gmail.com Put “Ring girl” in the subject line.
CREED background additional: We have a scene in Creed where we need a 7 or 8 year old boy boxer. Must have REAL boxing experience (training) and feel authentically “Philadelphia”. Any ethnicity, union and non union. Please include a picture of the young boxer and what gym he boxes out of in Philadelphia. Submit to creedcasting@gmail.com with “boy boxer” in subject line.
