The cast of Better Call Saul was in New York City last week where Bob Odenkirk, Michael McKean, and Jonathan Banks sat down with Cynthia Littleton at the 92nd Street Y.
During the talk, Odenkirk explained his feelings about filming in Albuquerque, and what he had to say might surprise you. Check it out in the video above!
Things to like: The Bosque trails are beautiful, the southwestern ambiance –homes with vigas, hand-sculpted walls, the skies, the thunderstorms, the cottonwood trees. The restaurants –where to start, plenty of artisan foods. Los Poblanos Inn, Flying Star Cafe, The Range Cafe, any place over on Central Avenue, which runs right by University of New Mexico, the Indian Cultural Center, Native American Culture. There’s an incredible amount, and it’s not L.A., it’s not NYC, but it does cause people from there who are working 13 hours a day to stumble, because mostly what they see are the set. Me, I’m from L.A. and I live both places when I work. Slowly, I’m beginning to love it here more than L.A.
