As we reported last month, the town of Ball Ground, GA, located north of Atlanta, has been chosen as the location for Tom Cruise’s next movie, Mena.
The film tells the true story of Barry Seal, a pilot, gun runner and drug trafficker, who transported contraband for the CIA and the Medellin cartel during the 80s. The title refers to Mena, Arkansas, “where a lot of the illegal activity took place under the noses of Presidents Reagan and Bush and then-Arkansas Gov. Bill Clinton.”
