Extras needed in Michigan for ‘Looking for Alaska’

Just a couple weeks after the news broke that John Green’s Looking for Alaska will be filmed in Michigan, Ryan Hill Casting is looking for extras to appear in the movie.

Though there aren’t too many details yet about who will star in the movie or where it will be filmed, a post on Hill’s Facebook page does say they will need “hundreds” of paid background actors, including teachers, basketball players and cars from the 80s and 90s.

Looking for Alaska will be filming in MI over the next couple of months!
Hundreds of PAID extras will be needed!
Here’s some of what I’ll be looking for over the next few weeks:
Prep School Students (young looking 18 and older)
Teachers/Faculty/Other Adults (30s and up)
Basketball Players (young looking 18 and older)
Younger Kids (5 to 12 years old)
Late 80s and early 90s (pre-94) Cars
I will be holding an open casting call sometime in the next couple of weeks, please watch my pages for details as they become available.
For now, if you would like to be considered, please email current pictures, name and contact info to RyanHillCasting@gmail.com with “LFA Extras” and the name of the role you are applying for in the subject, if applicable.
If you have a car from the late 80s/early 90s, please also include pics of the car and put “80s/90s Car” in the subject.
Thank you!!

Ryan Hill Casting also handled the casting for North, an independent movie starring Patrick Schwarzenegger that just wrapped in the Detroit area.
