Most people watch the Super Bowl, but few are lucky enough to get on the field during the game. Little do they realize, it’s actually easier than one might think to be a part of the game.
Each year, the NFL recruits a team of 500 fans to bring the stage onto the field and perform other duties during the half time show. For 2016, the Super Bowl Host Committee is asking for local volunteers only, but in years past the task was open to all fans, so this might change again next year.
Producers of the Pepsi Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show featuring Coldplay, which will take place during the Super Bowl at Levi’s Stadium in the San Francisco Bay Area on Sunday, February 7, 2016, won’t be providing volunteers tickets to the Super Bowl, but those volunteers will get a behind-the-scenes look at the show, making it a true once in a lifetime experience. Field team members will also remain in a database for the opportunity to participate at future NFL events across the country.
