CMT’s new series, Million Dollar Quartet, is set to begin filming in Memphis, TN and they are currently looking for extras.
The series chronicles the birth of rock ‘n’ roll in Memphis during the early days of the civil rights movement as young musicians like Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis changed the course of music forever during a time of historic social unrest.
Million Dollar Quartet’s cast includes Billy Gardell as Colonel Tom Parker, Keir O’Donnell as disc jockey Dewey Phillips, Chad Michael Murray as Sun Records founder Sam Phillips, Drake Milligan as Elvis Presley, Kevin Fonteyne as Johnny Cash, Christian Lees as Jerry Lee Lewis, Jonah Lees as Jimmy Swaggart, Jennifer Holland as Becky Phillips and Margaret Anne Florence as Sam’s assistant Marion Keisker.
The series is being timed for release later this year to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the famed Million Dollar Quartet recording sessions featuring Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins.
Want to be an extra in Million Dollar Quartet while the show is filming in Memphis? According to Film Memphis, On Location Casting is handling background for the show. Here’s what they’re looking for and how you can apply:

The extras casting office is registering new talent via its website for this project. Simply go to www.onlocationcasting.net and complete a FREE Talent Application. (DO NOT pay for the suggested account upgrades). You will need to upload 1-2 recent color photos of yourself. And again – IGNORE the requests to pay for an ‘active’ account – it is NOT required to work with the casting office on this project.
