Central Casting announced on its Facebook page that the process for casting background roles, stand-in and photo doubles for the next two Avengers movies has begun. Originally entitled as Part 1 and Part 2, we now know that the first one will be called Infinity War. The second one remains untitled.

It is still unclear which heroes will be featured in the film, but we do know that Robert Downey Jr. signed up to reprise his role as Iron Man. Josh Brolin is also confirmed as Thanos. Some others, however, are still rumored, such as Scarlett Johansson and Chris Hemsworth.

The filming should start in November/2016 in Atlanta and will likely go through some months of 2017, since Disney/Marvel decided to shoot the two sequels back-to-back. Avengers: Infinity War is scheduled for May 4, 2018; the untitled sequel should be released on May 3, 2019.

There is no precise date of when the selection will take place, but the company informed that it will start submitting their registrants in the upcoming weeks. To register, visit centralcasting.com soon!

  2. Quantum Mechanics is a semantic theory. When written as a logical theory by embedding the formalism into Mathematical Logic, mathematical undecidability is revealed. Certain formulae of the quantum formalism are members of an excluded middle under the Field Axioms that are neither logically valid nor logically invalid. I have written articles on this and presently writing the full story. My blog explains.
