Pop-Up Exhibit in L.A.: Check out the costumes from ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’

Hulu’s new show The Handmaid’s Tale will get a special exhibition at The Paley Center for Media in L.A. It will focus on the costumes made by award-winning designer Ane Crabtree and it will feature an up-close look at twenty of her creations.

The Handmaid’s Tale is an adaptation of the book written by Margaret Atwood that follows the story of life in a totalitarian society in what was formerly part of the United States.

The cast includes Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men), Alexis Bledel (Gilmore Girls), and Joseph Fiennes (Shakespeare in Love). Even though not all episodes are available for streaming yet, the show has already been renewed for a second season, which will premiere in 2018.

The pop-up exhibit The Handmaid’s Tale: Costumes by Ane Crabtree is open to the public and admission is free. It opened this Thursday, May 4, and it closes on Sunday, May 14. The Paley Center For Media is at 465 North Beverly Drive, Beverly Hills.
