Casting Call for ‘Big Little Lies’ season 2 in Monterey, CA

If you live in Monterey, CA or its surroundings and are a fan of HBO’s hit show Big Little Lies, you have a chance of actually being a part of its second season.
HBO will start production this month and is looking for locals to be extras. The casting call has been announced for Saturday, March 17, from 10am to 4:30pm at the Embassy Suites in Seaside, Ballroom D.
The producers are currently looking for males and females of all shapes, sizes and ethnicities over the age of 6 years old to work as a Non Union background extras.
All applicants are asked to bring a current 3×5 size photo of themselves, as well as a pen. In case the applicants are hired, they will be paid $96.00 for eight hours of work. Overtime begins after eight hours of labor. Applicants must be available to work the entire day or night of the shoot.
The first season was based on the book of the same name by Liane Moriarty and won multiple awards, including the Emmys and the Golden Globes.
Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley, Laura Dern, Zoë Kravitz, Adam Scott, James Tupper, Jeffrey Nordling and Iain Armitage are set to reprise their roles. It was also announced that Meryl Streep will join the cast in the new season and will play Mary Louise Wright, Perry’s mother (played by Alexander Skarsgard in Season 1).
Big Little Lies airs on HBO and the second season is expected to be released in 2019.
