Love and Other Drugs is scheduled to begin filming Sept. 21 throughout the Pittsburgh region.
Love and Other Drugs will be directed by Edward Zwick and reunites actors Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal, who costarred in Brokeback Mountain in 2005. The movie is a drama based on Jamie Reidy’s memoir, Hard Sell:The Evolution of a Viagra Salesman about a salesman competing in the cutthroat world of pharmaceuticals.
According to the Pittsburgh Film Office, filming locations will not be made public but residents in the neighborhoods where filming is scheduled to take place will be informed a minimum of 72 hours before production begins via hand delivered letters from the film office.
