Open Casting Call announced in Chattanooga for ’42’

As we’ve reported, the movie 42, starring Chadwick Boseman as baseball legend Jackie Robinson and Harrison Ford as the baseball executive who signed Robinson, is gearing up to begin filming in Chattanooga, TN, Macon, GA, and Atlanta, and they have just announced an open casting call for extras.

Last week they auditioned baseball players, and next week they will be looking for extras to appear in the scenes being shot in Chattanooga.

Catrett Locke will hold an open casting call at the Eastgate Town Center in Chattanooga on Tuesday, April 10 from 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. According to Missy Crutchfield with the city of Chattanooga’s Department of Education, Arts and Culture, the casting call is open to anyone, and no appointment is necessary.

Extras will most likely be cast as fans in the stands or workers at Ebbets Field where most of the Chattanooga scenes will be shot.
