As we continue our series explaining how fans can become extras in their favorite shows, it’s a perfect time to share the deets for becoming a background actor on TV’s hottest new show, Quantico.
The first thing to know is that to be an extra (on any show) you need to live in close proximity to where the show is filmed – in the case of Quantico, that means you must live in or around Montreal, Québec, Canada. After Quantico’s pilot was filmed in Atlanta, the series about FBI trainees in Virginia moved to Canada, presumably for the generous film incentives.
Among Quantico’s frequent filming locations in Montreal are Old Montreal, Lafontaine Park, and nearby Sherbrooke.
Extras casting for Quantico is handled by Casting Quarters in Montreal. According to Casting Quarters’ website, you must be registered with their agency to be considered for a role in any of the projects they are casting, including Quantico. But, even if you aren’t registered with their company, you can still see what roles they’re trying to fill via their latest casting calls on Facebook.
