Casting call for new Tom Hardy movie in New Orleans

Fonzo, the upcoming movie about Al Capone, starring Tom Hardy and Linda Cardellini, is currently filming in New Orleans, LA.

Central Casting has announced they are casting actors to be extras in a scene called “Prohibition Party”, described as “raucous party full of dancing and fun with Al Capone,” which will feature a wide range of characters:

PARTY GUEST: casting 20’s – 60’s Caucasian and Italian looking men and women (18+ years old) to portray upscale Guests at a Prohibition Party set in Chicago. Applicants will be portraying Chicago’s upper class and Government officials. Due to vintage clothing size restrictions, women must be size 10 or smaller and men must be a size 44 coat and smaller.

ESCORT: casting 20’s – 30’s Caucasian, Asian and African American looking women (18+ years old) to portray the beautiful escorts of Chicago’s Government Officials and Millionaires.

SERVERS: casting 20’s – 50’s African American looking men (18+ years old) to portray servers at the party. Server experience preferred.

DANDY: casting 20’s – 30’s Caucasian and African American looking men (18+ years old) who love to dance.

Applicants must keep in mind that this is a period piece and, for that reason, unnatural hair color, modern haircuts, modern piercings, visible tattoos on hands, face and necks will not be considered.

Filming will take place on May 17 and instructions of how to apply can be found on Central Casting’s Facebook page and website.

Written and directed by Josh Trank (Fantastic Four), Fronzo focuses on Al Capone’s life after 10 years in prison, when he starts suffering from dementia and is haunted by his past. Tom Hardy will play Al Capone. Other cast members include Linda Cardellini, Matt Dillon, Kyle MacLachlan, and Noel Fisher.
